Linden United Methodist Church was organized in 1853 as one of the missions of the "Linden Circuit" of the Marshall District in the Methodist Church, South. Since its founding, the congregation of LUMC has met in three different buildings with its present home being completed in 1964. As a member of the Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church, LUMC participates in numerous mission, evangelical, and ministerial opportunities locally and world-wide. With members from all walks of life and all ages we have become a welcoming group of believers who gladly accept the task of loving everyone. Our church is committed to having open hearts, open doors and open minds.
